The Founder of AfriOceans, and Principal Photographer of the organisation, Lesley Rochat, dives in with the sharks of the Bahamas to dispel the myths inflicted upon sharks in this visually powerful, and thought provoking, slide-show production. The Rethink the Predator - Bahamas 2011, is the first of a series of Rethink the predator awareness productions, which aim to lure the viewer into the intimate, and fascinating world of sharks, while challenging us to Rethink who the real predator is.
In this production the AfriOceans award winning filmmaker, activist, conservation photographer and environmental writer, Lesley Rochat, joins a photographic expedition to the Bahamas to capture images for our campaign.
This month the prestigious Divestive magazine will also feature an article about the expedition. written by Lesley, featuring her outstanding photography, which also glosses the cover.
Rethink the predator is another powerful awareness campaign of the AfriOceans, created for us by our ad agency, Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town, and a natural extension of our Panda award winning Rethink the shark campaign.
What an amazing insight to our oceans & marine life. I have seen many videos and photos aiming to grab awareness on the same issue but nothing has touched my heart as this has today. Thank You!
